□ Information for submitting proposals
The protein crystal screening (PCS) beamtime at the PAL-XFEL is open for domestic scientists who are willing to judge a crystal quality prior to the macromolecular crystallography experiments at not only XFEL but synchrotron facilities. To maximize operational efficiency, the PCS beamtime will be operated with standard fixed target sample delivery instruments at specific X-ray energy. The allocated beamtime, including sample preparation and loading, is about an hour for each accepted proposal. In particular, proposals planning to apply for the PAL-XFEL regular beamtime will get a higher priority.
Please register as a user of PAL and submit an application form for the PAL-XFEL proposal via the website (http://pal.postech.ac.kr/).
